Valentine's Concert for Chester NAACP scholarship

How does an evening of seven wonderful singers and lots of chocolate desserts sound? Now add that this event will benefit a great college scholarship fund. Can’t miss, right?
We’re talking about “Such Big Hearts”, a Concert for the Community at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Delaware County, Media.
This Valentine’s-themed concert by candlelight will feature live entertainment by a lineup of fine vocalists -- Josh Graves, Wayne G. Harvey, Jean Lenke, Art Miron, Denise Montana, Ann Seidman and Heidi Starr. They’ll present their favorite love songs from the classics, the great American songbook, country, jazz, pop, folk, rock and more in cabaret-style performances.
The BYOB evening will benefit the church’s NAACP Scholarship Fund, which every year awards $1,000 to a graduating Chester High School senior chosen by the Chester Branch of the NAACP.

Advance tickets are $25 for couples, $15 adults and $8 students and seniors. They’re available Sundays at church, and online at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/222800
At the door, tickets are $35 for couples, $20 adults, $10 students and seniors.
The church is located at 145 W. Rose Tree Road, two blocks west of Route 252.

More Details & History: In 2002, UUCC held the first "Concert for the Community". The idea was to produce a musical and give the proceeds from the performances to a charity. Approximately $4,000 was given to The Support Center for Child Advocates. This program has continued with funds raised yearly, mostly through musical events, to benefit the Chester NAACP for college scholarships.
Thank you very much.
